Excellent problem solving skills and ability to think with an open mind while under pressure
Assembly and maintanance of numerous computer systems for different applications including Network Servers and Clients, Web/Public Servers, Accounting and Book-keeping, Audio/Video production, Multimedia Authoring/Duplication and Desktop/Internet publishing
Ability to service hardware ranging from the newest Intel and AMD systems to older 486 based architecture
The ability to troubleshoot, configure and connect a variety of Network environments based on TCP/IP standards, including Wireless 802.11(x)
Knowledge of Windows 7, Windows Vista, Windows XP, Windows 2003 Server and Advanced Server, Windows 2000 Professional, Windows 2000 Server and Advanced Server, Windows ME, Windows 98/95, Windows NT 4, and DOS operating systems
Working knowledge of Linux including OS install and the 'common' servers with or without Virtual Hosts
Remote assistance for Win7/Vista/XP users
Remote administration of servers and clients via Remote Desktop / VNC (webmin and putty / telnet for Linux)
Knowledge and understanding of multiple applications including E-commerce solutions, Microsoft Office products, web design and authoring, point of sale and inventory, audio / video production and graphics
*Normal work hours are 10am-6pm, Mon-Fri, after hour rates will apply.
